A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan accent rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of cherry red, sky blue, orange, burgundy,pink, teal, yellow and cream. This rug features a rhomboid shaped medallion on a red field patterned with geometric flowers and leaves.It is framed with sawtooth and carnation meander borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and short fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
