A set of two antique wood engravings and one vintage halftone print, each depicting 19th-century military scenes. Engraved images include The Crocodile Indian Troop-Ship in a Storm, Admiral Dupont’s Machine-Shop in Charleston Harbor and Reception of the Second New York Fire Zouaves... The halftone print in the set includes depictions after circa 1840 steel engravings titled Portrait of Louis Alexandre Berthier after Eugène Charpentier and Revel, and Portrait of Desaix on Horseback after Karl Girardet and Revel. The prints are unsigned and presented unframed.

Condition

- staining and marks present to some pieces; heavy toning, foxing and discoloration throughout all prints, matting and backing paper; edge wear, creasing and warping to paper and backing; typeface visible through largest print; tears to edges of some prints; wear and tears to backing of all prints; items are unframed.
