A hand-knotted, Persian Serebend _ mir-a-boteh- wool area rug. This wool rug features a repeating boteh pattern in navy and ivory over a madder red field. Its minor borders include lancet leaves and florets which incorporate pear and lime green to the color scheme. The main border features a traditional serabend pattern grounded in ivory. The selvedges are overcast, the rug finishes with a kilim skirt and long warp fringe at each end. Unlabeled.
