A Persian Hamadan hand-knotted wool area rug. The rug features three central geometric medallions in madder red, navy and peacock filled with geometric botanicals over an ivory field. The center field is flanked by several borders including a compound border with repeating geometric designs in corresponding shades. The rug is finishes with black overcast selvedges and long knotted fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
