1860 First Edition, Third Printing "A Tale of Two Cities"
Item Details
An 1860 antique first edition, third printing copy of Charles Dickens’ classic historical novel A Tale of Two Cities, published by Chapman Hall of London. It is illustrated with engravings and bound in hardcover with the original green publisher’s cloth. This is fairly rare for a Dickens work, because as he became more popular, many publishers rebound his works in leather or calfskin in order to command higher prices.
