A circa 1986 serigraph poster on paper titled NC9 after a work by listed American artist Patrick Nagel (1945 – 1984). The commemorative poster advertises an exhibit of Nagel’s work at the D. Genaro Gallery in Santa Monica, California and was published by Dumas/Mirage Editions. The piece depicts the portrait of a reclining female figure with pale skin and dark hair wearing a blue tube top and purple capris pants; the imagery was used as the cover art for Duran Duran’s 1981 Japanese 7’ pressing of the ‘My Own Way’ single. The print is signed in plate to the lower right, with gallery and edition information printed in plate to the lower left margin. It is matted in cream and presented under protective glazing in a black plastic frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
