A vintage Chippendale style armchair. This mahogany framed chair features a double yoke crest rail supported by a pierced splat over an upholstered seat flanked by two curved arms. The seat is upholstered in a fabric with a off-white ground and a large multi-colored floral print. The chairs rises on Marlborough legs joined by stretchers
a curved crest rail and pierced splat over a rush seat rising on carved cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet. The chair legs are joined by stretchers to the sides. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition
- penetrating crack through where right armrest meets back of chair, minor damage to outside edge of left armrest, general wear/scuffing to various arts of chair, exposed gap between back of cushion and back of chair seat.
