Item Details

A vintage to semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Kerman accent rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of magenta, cerulean, sky blue, cream, golden tan, and brown. The field is patterned with branches of flowers and leaves, with a central cruciform shaped medallion. It has a border of scroll motifs and palmettes. It is finished with overcast edges and applied fringe to either end. It may have undergone a restoration or repair, with applied fringe and recent overstitching along the warp ends. Unlabeled.
