A handwoven Persian Hamadan wool accent rug. This rug begins with a cream-colored diamond pendant medallion populated with geometric tulips and arrow heads. This design carries out to the herati patterned field and spandrels framed with sawtooth edges. The palette is cherry, rose, clementine, grey, indigo, cream and cranberry. It features three unresolved S-motif borders in alternating colors to the edges, and only one to the ends. The rug finishes with overcast selvedges and extremely short warp fringe at each end. Unlabeled.
