A charcoal drawing on paper of East Asian style figures. This sketch depicts a figure kneeling, a man presented in close portraiture, and a woman extending her arm in profile while clutching at a hand fan. These studies are rendered with gestural linework, featuring calligraphic text to the right center portion of the composition. The drawing is presented under glass beneath a linen mat featuring a gold tone fillet, which is placed in a gold tone wooden frame. To the verso is affixed hanging wire and a typed tag which attributes this as a drawing from listed artist Jack Levine.
