A hand-knotted Persian Heriz area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of lime, red, navy, sky blue, slate gray, and white. It features a multi-point medallion on red hexagonal lozenge patterned with angular florals and samovar patterns. It has corner spandrels grounded in white with sawtooth edges. It is framed with a simpflied samovar pattern border. Finished with overcast edges and fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
