Item Details
A pair of weighted sterling silver pedestal compotes by Mueck-Carey Co. (active 1940s-1940s, now a trademark of Towle Silversmiths). These matching compotes feature shallow bowls with gadroon trim rising above tapered columns and round stepped bases. The undersides are marked ‘Sterling Reinforced with Cement 690’ with the maker’s pictorial mark.
Condition
- surface wear including faint scratches, minor dents and mild tarnish; one compote has a noticeable wobble when touched.
