An East Asian silk embroidery panel. This hand-stitched textile, which may have been used as a table scarf or decoration, features a palette of blue and cream-hued silk threads on an ivory-colored silk ground, with accents of gold tone metallic-wrapped threads. It depicts an elegant figure and servant walking through a garden in the central medallion, bordered with a floral circle and corner groupings. The piece is finished with a fringe of faded gold tone coiled wire thread and unsigned. It is presented mounted behind glass in a gold tone faux-bamboo frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- fraying to some threads; wear to ground; staining and discoloration throughout; area of missing fringe; buckling and wrinkles in textile.
