A collection of five encased antique daguerreotype portraits. This group of portraits includes four female figures and one male figure, including one hand-painted postmortem portrait which depicts a woman holding her deceased infant. Each of the portraits is presented with a mat or under glass with a metal preserver frame. Some of the frames are held in embossed cases.
