An offset lithograph on paper titled Forgive Us Our Trespasses after well-listed Spanish Surrealist artist Salvador Dalí (1904–1989). This print, which is a part of Dalí’s Pater Noster series circa 1966, depicts a loose, gestural rendering of what appears to be a winged demon levitating into the sky, confronting a clergyman, with a clustered field of fallen arrows below. The piece is signed in plate with a monogram to the lower right. An informative label is present to the verso. It is presented behind glass in a white mat behind glass in a natural tone wood frame. Hanging hardware is present.

Dalí was born in Figueres, Spain to Salvador Dalí y Cusi, a lawyer and notary, and Felipa Domenech Ferres. His mother encouraged his artistic pursuits a eccentricities. In 1922 Dalí enrolled at the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid, Spain. It was during this time that he went to Paris started interacting with Picasso, Magritte, and Miro leading to his first Surrealist phase. Dalí is best known for his Surrealist painting, drawing, photography, and sculptures. His works are housed in many private collections and museums across the globe.
