An offset lithograph on paper titled Thy will be done, on earth as it is on Heaven… after the work by well-listed artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989). This work is a page from Pater Noster series published by Rizzoli in 1966. The series illustrates the Christian prayer “Our Father” through a series of prints. The piece is signed and dated in plate to the lower left corner. An informational gallery label is adhered to the verso. The work is presented behind acrylic glass in a white glass with a black tone fillet and housed in a wood frame. Hanging hardware is present to the verso.

Dalí was born in Figueres, Spain to Salvador Dalí y Cusi, a lawyer and notary, and Felipa Domenech Ferres. His mother encouraged his artistic pursuits a eccentricities. In 1922 Dalí enrolled at the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid, Spain. It was during this time that he went to Paris started interacting with Picasso, Magritte, and Miro leading to his first Surrealist phase. Dalí is best known for his Surrealist painting, drawing, photography, and sculptures. His works are housed in many private collections and museums across the globe.
