A handwoven and embroidered North African carpet runner. This tribal wool rug is rendered in a palette of rust, midnight blue, peach, gold, royal blue and cerulean. It features a series of geometric patterns in horizontal strips over a rust-colored field, including diamond lattices. The field is framed by a main border grounded in rust, featuring repeating stepped diamond motifs alternating in midnight blue and peach. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with tan warp fringe made of goat hair. Unlabeled.
