A hand-knotted pictorial area rug, likely Turkish in origin. This unique carpet features mirrored depictions on dark haired women at the center of the rug in shades of muted aqua, black, cream, tan, and rose . It is framed with borders of flowers in slate blue, olive,ocher. white, pink and lime. Finished with double sewn edges and short wool fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
