1974 "Sports Illustrated" "Rumble in the Jungle" Framed Display
Item Details
A framed display on the ‘Rumble in the Jungle’, the 1974 boxing event in which Muhammad Ali defeated reigning heavyweight champion George Foreman. The November 11, 1974 issue of Sports Illustrated features a front cover photo of the fight with the headline ‘Taking Back the Title: How Ali Fooled Them All’. The magazine is presented beside a reproduction poster for the match, both matted behind a white mat under glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire.

- creasing to Sports Illustrated cover and tear to lower left where address label was removed; minor wear to frame.
