Item Details
A vintage Nippon tea service. This set includes a teapot, a creamer, and a lidded sugar bowl. Each features a scenic depiction of a garden and a stream with a bridge going over it and people walking through the garden along various paths done in shades of red, yellow, pink, green, blue, and black. The upper rims and handles on each piece boast a scalloped edged cobalt band with gold scrolling detailing. Each piece is marked ‘Nippon’ over a Japanese torii gate to the base.
Condition
- surface scratches and wear throughout; creamer seems to be missing a lid.
