A sem-antique North African area rug. This wool rug is handwoven in a palette of garnet, royal blue, heathered brown, ivory and black. It features a design of horizontal, monochromatic stripes interspersed with geometric patterns. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with warp fringe made of goat hair and wool. It is unlabeled.
