An artist’s proof etching on paper titled Vermont Weather by American artist Joe Essig. This work depicts a blue lake with distant mountains under a vast sky of gray clouds with an orange hue on the horizon. The piece is signed in graphite and dated ‘1987’ to the lower right margin, titled to the lower center margin, and numbered ‘AP’ for artist’s proof in an edition of 25 to the lower left margin. It is presented behind a white mat in a wooden frame with hanging brackets to the verso.

Condition

- mild discoloration to image; abrasion wear to image surface in the form of small scratches; minor warping to ground; minor wear to frame.
