An oil painting on canvas of a wooded landscape by listed American artist Helen Hudson Below. This painting, rendered with loose and swift brushstrokes depicts a dense woods during autumn and a still, reflective creek. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner. The painting is housed in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with foliate motif molding and a metal hanging wire to the verso.
