Item Details
An antique oil on canvas of an early 19th century Greek Revival Texan country home. The unsigned work depicts an austere and elegant house situated in front of a low hill with low brown grasses and small trees, the house in a light beige with white trim, with columned colonnade porch and emerald green shutters, stone foundation and white picket fence to the left. The painting is displayed in an antique ornately- gessoed frame with embossed wave and dot inner border and gilded filet. Wired to the verso for hanging.

antique, small areas of overpainting, wear to frame with several small missing pieces of gesso
