A hand-knotted Persian Kerman wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, sky blue, camel, sage, and rose. The ivory colored field features a floral themed diamond pendant medallion bordered with scrolling floral motifs and vase forms. Framing the field is a main border of scrolling leaves and flower filled vases, along with floral meander guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and knotted ivory wool warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
