A group of approximately fifty U.S. Mint sheets of stamps featuring notable individuals and subjects such as the U.S History, Walt Disney, nature, art and more. Of note in this grouping are U.S. Bicentennial commemoratives issued through the decade of the 1970s; a 1968 issued fifty stamp sheet of Walt Disney six-cent stamps; two sheets of 1974 issued thirty-two stamp Universal Postal Union ‘Famous Works of Art’ ten-cent stamps; two sheets of 1974 issued forty-eight stamp Mineral Heritage/Petrified Wood ten-cent stamps; a block of twelve 1976 Olympics thirteen-cent stamps; two 1978 issued fifty stamp, two design per sheet, Captain Cook stamps; one 1978 issued fifteen-cent Orange Eagle A Rate 100-stamp sheet; two 1978 issued thirteen-cent Indian Head Penny 150-stamp sheets and more. Other important individuals recognized include Winston Churchill (1965, fifty five-cent stamp sheet), Harry S. Truman (1973, thirty-two eight-cent stamp sheet), Lyndon B. Johnson (1973, thirty-two eight-cent stamp sheet),and Chief Joseph (1968, fifty six-cent stamp sheet). Eight sheets of Bicentennial stamps include original envelopes, all other sheets are presented loose.
