Vintage Wooden Boxes Featuring Lane and Sears Roebuck
Item Details
A collection of six vintage wooden boxes. The collection features a finger-jointed Sears Roebuck box, marked ‘6 Lbs. Seroco Fancy Gloss Starch’, and a cedar jewelry box by Lane Cedar Chests of Altavista, Va. The lot additionally includes a box with hand-painted cherries and the initials ‘LS’, a floral box of State Farm Insurance playing cards, a black box lined with faux leopard fur, and another finger-jointed box marked ‘120 Penny’.
Condition
- finger-jointed Seroco box loose at joints, shows wear and fading throughout; yellow playing card box has a few chips.
