Decorative Floral Ceramic Planters from Asia
Item Details
A collection of decorative floral ceramic planters from Asia. The three pieces in this lot feature similar green and pink floral decorations to the craquelure surfaces. The square bracket-footed planter features vertical sections ‘bound’ by an embossed rope strand. This item is marked to the base with a red stamped hallmark of a crown over the initials ‘UW’ and ‘1897’ for United Wilson in Hong Kong. The urn with handles of leaves and lavender blossoms is marked with a stamp of four characters and ‘Not for Food Use’. The cache pot with yellow trim at the rim and base is decorated with hummingbirds feeding from flowers. It is marked to the base with a faint, illegible red stamp.
