A mixed media drawing of a nude woman by Indiana artist Lois Davis (born 1924). This piece is rendered with ink wash and charcoal, depicting a reclining woman with her hair pulled back, her elbow resting on a striped pillow. The drawing is signed and dated ‘L. Davis, 63’ to its lower right corner and is mounted under glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire to its verso.

Condition

- some dirt & charcoal residue throughout the image area; gold tone wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame.
