Vintage Heiser Beaded Black Satin Flapper Dress and Matching Open-Front Coat

A vintage Heiser beaded black satin dress and matching coat. Featured here is a sleeveless, wide scoop neck ‘flapper’ style, drop-waist black satin dress, with bust darts and a straight-falling skirt with a back zipper. The skirt of the dress is embellished at the bottom with a horizontal band of black seed beads and garlands of black bugle beads, with two rows of crinkle-pleated ruffles below. The dress comes with a matching black, open-front coat with three-quarter length sleeves, and it is embellished throughout with rows of crinkle pleated ruffles that match the ruffles on the dress. The coat is fully lined, and it fastens at the throat with a single hook and eye closure. Both the dress and the coat are labeled ‘Heiser’.
