Blue Danube Porcelain Tableware

A thirty four piece collection of blue and white tableware including Blue Danube and Wood and Sons. The Blue Danube pattern, from Blue Danube Japan, features the classic blue on white Blue Onion motif with a subtly fluted rim and scalloped edge. There are eight dinner plates, seven dessert plates, four salad plates, a salt and pepper shaker set, eight teacups, one creamer, one sugar bowl, one gravy boat and a pair of candlesticks. Two of the plates are from different makers including Wood & Sons and Ridgway. Items are marked to the undersides. The mark on the Blue Danube pieces dates them from 1977-96.

- one plate is chipped to the rim; other plates show signs of age and use including minor surface marks and discoloration.
