Two Brass Rubbings and Two Engravings

A collection of four prints. Includes two brass rubbings with gold-tone ink on black paper depicting a knight standing on a lion and a lady. The rubbings are unsigned and are presented in gold-tone frames with a wire in verso for hanging. Includes one hand colored etching titled ‘Docteur Des Lois: XIV Siecle’ and one etching depicting a woman playing a harp titled ‘Noble Italienne: XIV Siecle’. The etchings are presented framed with layered matting and a wire in verso for hanging.
Condition
- some chips and scratches to the edges of each frame; largest frame has cracked glass to the bottom left; each glass could benefit from a cleaning; to the verso of each larger item, some marks and foxing to the protective backing; to the verso of the smaller items, some wear to protective backing.
