A limited edition halftone print on paper titled Koito Botan after an original work by artist Kimiko Kojima (Japanese, born 1942). This work depicts a Japanese woman with her left shoulder and breast exposed, featuring a floral tattoo. A large koi fish leaps from the end of the woman’s garment creating a wave. It is signed, numbered 10/20, and dated ‘1978’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins. To the lower center margin is the artist’s name, printed in black ink. It is housed behind glass in a black metal frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- some discoloration to print; mark to upper left margin; scratches and wear to frame.
