A Satsuma East Asian vase with pheasants and bamboo motif. The ornate vase features an elongated basket form with a shaped bar handle to the top which extends through both sides. It features ornate decoration in muted greens and blues with gold tone accents on a gold tone background. It is marked ‘Satsuma’ to the underside with a ‘Made in China’ label.

Condition

- dust and accretions throughout, particularly to inside; light wear to underside and to edges; scuffing to “handle”.
