Antique Heywood-Wakefield Wicker Chair

Item Details

An antique wicker side chair by Heywood-Wakefield, retaining a partial label to the bottom of seat. The chair is in an original natural finish and leather upholstery, featuring a button-tufted, oval back panel and round seat with nailhead trim. The woven back has a scalloped shape and coiled scroll detail. The base has a deep woven apron and lattice woven corners, above wrapped legs and an X-stretcher. Circa 1900.
