A gouache painting on wood by Anne Bristow. This piece, painted on a cut piece of log with bark still on the sides and natural cracks along the grain, depicts a crouching lynx kitten hunting a butterfly beneath a tree. It is signed in paint to the lower right and wired to the verso for hanging.

- minor wear to edges of wood; accretion in crevices.
