Antique Railroad Lanterns
Item Details
A pair of antique railroad lanterns. This lot features two metal railroad lanterns, each with silver-toned metal construction, swing handles, and clear glass globes. The shorter lamp is labelled ‘NYCS’ (New York City System) and ‘Dressel, Arlington, NJ’, while the taller lamp bears a ‘C&O’ (Chesapeake and Ohio) mark with illegible markings around the top rim.
Condition
- both show heavy wear and discolored metal; both could benefit from a cleaning; neither tested
