A sterling silver flatware set by Towle Silversmiths. This is in the Arim R. Kalashian designed Old Mirror pattern, first introduced in 1940, which features a floral and scroll accented handle. The seventy-eight piece set includes twelve dinner forks, twelve soup spoons, twelve salad forks, twelve teaspoons, twelve butter spreaders, a ladle, two serving spoons, a meat fork, a sugar spoon, and a pickle fork, all marked to the backs ‘Towle Sterling Pat.’ and ‘Old Mirror’. They are presented with twelve dinner knives that have hollow sterling handles and stainless blades. The set is presented in a wooden flatware chest with maroon felt-like interior lining.
