A watercolor painting on paper titled Winter Eve by listed Indiana artist Floyd Hopper (1909-1984). This work depicts a line of red barns partially obscured by a low snow-covered hill. A barbed wire fence lined by tufts of yellow grass separates the viewer from most of the composition, which is signed by the artist to its lower right corner. This piece is double-matted under acrylic glass in a slim wooden frame with a hanging wire and a gallery label to its verso.
