A circa 1950s Talmack by John Moore cocktail dress. The vintage sleeveless design features a fit and flare silhouette with a bateau neckline and a draped open back. The dress includes a light brown crepe underlay and a brown mesh overlay, adorned by dark brown sequins in a lattice pattern design. A full hidden back zipper completes the design. John Moore is best known for winning the American Fashion Critics’ Coty Award in 1953 while designing for Talmack, along with designing Lady Bird Johnson’s gown for the 1965 inaugural balls.
