Vintage Fukagawa Crane Plates
Item Details
A collection of nine vintage plates from Fukagawa, Japan. These pieces are decoreated with four cranes, three white and one brown, on a ground of allover line pattern with blue and yellow stylized flowers throughout. The undersides are marked with the blue Mt. Fuji mark of Fukagawa, dating them to 1900-20.
Condition
- minor chip to rims of at least one plate; light wear to gilding.
