Power-Loomed Persian Style Wool Area Rug

A power-loomed Persian style wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ecru, indigo, ivory, gold, and powder blue. The ecru colored field features a large star shaped medallion with coordinating spandrels, along with geometrically shaped palmette, floral, and vining leaf motifs. Framing the field is a main herati patterned border as well as floral meander, and running water patterned guard borders. Finishing the rug are serged edges and an applied ivory fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
