Early 20th Century Armin Sternberg Budapest Full-Size Violin

An early 20th century full-size violin manufactured in Budapest from the Sternberg Armin es Testvere factory. The violin comprises a spruce wood top with painted purfling and ebony fingerboard and chin rest. The pegs are mismatched with the majority being ebony. Flame maple makes up the ribs, the back, and neck. To the interior, there is a label reading, ‘Sternberg Armin es Testvere’ along with more information.

- signs of surface scratches and signs of use; corner chip to lower bout along with an open seam under the button; signs of previous repairs present; violin features a thin neck
