Antique Majolica Glazed Ceramic Umbrella Stand

Item Details

An antique Majolica glazed ceramic umbrella stand. This colorful piece has a ruffled lip with a cylindrical body and flared base. The glaze starts from the top in hues of brown and pale green, which drips down to hues of dark and bright red. Beneath the glaze are carved depictions of scrolls, foliate and two cherubs on either side of the lip. Piece is unmarked.
