Antique Victorian Carved Oak Bench

An antique Victorian carved oak wood bench. Comprised of solid oak, the bench features one central and two bordering carved illustrations of two griffins emerging from each other and facing in opposite directions. The seat is bordered by carved scrollwork and line work with a scroll arm on either side. Each arm connects to a spiral column on either side of the seat back. The seat lifts open to reveal three sectioned storage areas. The piece sits on four spiral legs with custom-made three carved bun feet and one carved square foot. Companion piece to 18CIN019-010.
