An antique New Haven Clock Co. brass figural mantel clock. This mantel clock features a cast iron molded base rising on four ornate feet, and features a highly detailed seated figurine with a sword. The clock itself features an ornate brass case with scrolled foliate details and decorative finial to the bonnet. The clock face features an embossed brass bezel with shell motifs, black Arabic number, spade tipped hands, two key arbors, and decorative mechanical style details, along with a marking of ‘Made by the New Haven Clock Co. New Haven Conn. U.S.A.’. The verso offers a brass hinged door housing the clock mechanism, and includes a key.
