A mid-century oil painting on panel by Wagner. The Impressionist-inspired still life work depicts a vase filled with an assortment of colorful flowers including carnations, rendered in a palette of red, pink, yellow, green, orange and off-white hues. The glass vase is depicted set upon a white tablecloth against a mottled brown and green background. The work is signed in green paint to the lower right, appearing to read ‘Wagner’. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with fabric liner and gold tone fillet, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to fair; surface wear with media loss to right center; holes present to corners of panel; minor discoloration to image; stains and discoloration to fabric liner; surface wear, dents and scratching to frame; tears to backing paper.
