Antique Arrow Back Writing-Arm Chair

Item Details

An early 19th century, writing-arm chair in poplar and maple, having an arrow-back, scrolled left arm and a right-hand, writing arm, over a plank seat. Beneath the seat is a small drawer with filled in keyhole escutcheon; legs flare outward and are turned front and back with spindle stretchers. Circa 1820-30.
