Antique Copper Teapot with Openwork Brass Trivet
Item Details
An antique copper teapot with a brass trivet. The copper teapot features a foliate handle and goose neck spout connected to a cylindrical well with beaded trim. It is topped by a dome lid adorned with an acorn finial. The brass trivet features an openwork design with the word ‘Comfort’ to the center and a curved handle at the end. The ends are screwed into a cast metal mount with hooks at the top. There are no visible markings.
Condition
- surface wear including scratches, minor dents and some discoloration/tarnish; the trivet is lopsided on the wall mount; the metal mount shows some rust and wear.
