Vintage Creche with Hand Made Folk Art Stable
Item Details
A lovely mid 20th century nativity creche, includes a hand made folk art log stable / barn, with mica-flocked roof, strung lights, and nativity figures. There are 10 hand-painted figures, most of a light-weight plaster composition, most marked ‘Japan’ to the base. With the paint loss to figures, this set exudes vintage and looks great for its age.
Condition
, untested light set (as the age of the wiring appears uncertain), some mica flocking missing and tear to side of roof, damage to Joseph (see photo), paint chips to figures – recommend preview.
